Most Outrageous World Records

Hello guys! First of all, i know i know. I didn't write a post at all after my little update even though i said i would. I'm sorry for that but schedules never really worked out for me so i guess i will be writing at random times for you guys! On this post i wanted to do something i was thinking about for a long time now. World Records! But wait, wait; not just the normal records but the weird ones you never thought of. So, let's hop in and see this list of outrageous world records!

1. Largest Barbie Doll Collection.
This record is owned by Bettina Dorfmann (Germany). This 48 year old woman has collected 6,025 Barbie dolls worth £100,000. She has been collecting since 1993 and has no plans of stopping. Her goal is to make a collection of at least 10,000 dolls! I guess some people never grow up.

2. Largest Gathering Of People Dressed As Penguins.

In London, UK, 373 dressed as penguins and gathered by City Hall, breaking the World Record! The group also took part in a 2km "waddle" around Tower Bridge.

3. Fattest Woman To Give Birth

 This record is owned by Donna Simpson (USA), who in 2007 gave birth to a baby girl via cesarean section. Her birth required 30 doctors and became the heaviest person to ever give birth since she weighed 532 pounds (241 kg).

4. Tallest Lego Tower.

Budapest, Hungary owns the record for the tallest Lego tower since 2014. The tower was built in front of the St. Stephen’s Basilica and had a height of 34.76 meters (114 feet). The structure was made of 450,000 colorful bricks and appropriately topped with an over sized, Hungarian-built Rubik’s Cube. 

5. Most Chess Games Played At One Time.

 Ehsan Ghaem-Maghami from Iran won this record in 2011 by playing 604 games simultaneously. He played for 25 hours winning 580 of the games, drawing 16 and losing 8!

6. Most Pierced Woman.

Elaine Davidson is the most pierced woman with 9,000 piercings in 2012.

7. Longest Finger Nails.

Lee Redmond started growing her nails in 1979 and by 2008 they reached a total length of 8.65 meters (28 feet and 4.5 in)! Lee lost her nails in an automobile accident in 2009.
